Making the Most of Time at Home
Coronavirus has meant many things to many people, and our hearts go out to those who faced or are facing life-changing situations. Fortunately, the biggest challenge most of us faced was simply spending more time at home. More time than ever before. Ever. Lots and lots of time. Same surroundings. Same few people. Same, same, same. We love ’em, but…you know.
The advice we hear often is to “figure out a way to make the best of it,” which is precisely the concept of redesign, where you reuse, recycle and repurpose items to beautify and improve your interior spaces. If we need to shelter in place again, I hope my blogs will help provide a positive diversion that helps people find a way to love their homes more.
As someone who deals with significant anxiety and doesn’t deal well with stressful situations, Corona is not my friend. Some of you share these feelings and fears and know that staying busy is important. I invite you to reach out to me, if you want to chat about redesign, home projects, arts and crafts, ideas to beat boredom, or even pandemic-related stuff if that would be helpful.
I hope you will share your ideas, photos and projects with me and the Redesign Habit community. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Join us. Let’s work together to help you “love where you live.”
