Merry, Merry!!!  Holiday Gift Ideas for the DIYer in Your Life

Tis the season for gift buying and if you have someone in your life who loves all things DIY and crafting, I’ve got some great gift ideas for you!  They are thoughtful, useful, and won’t completely empty your piggy bank.  I mean, what else could you ask for?  Okay, let’s get going!

9 Great Gift Ideas for the DIYer

1. Canvas Tool bag.  This is the perfect gift if your projects happen all around your home.  It’s a great way to stay organized and always have the perfect tool right at your fingertips.

2. Battery-Powered Staple Gun & Staples.  Not the least expensive gift in the world but so worth the money if you know your crafter is still using an old-school stapler.  This makes the job go so much faster and you get much better results. Don’t forget to include staples that work with your particular staple gun!

3.  DIY Project Scheduler.  If your DIYer is someone who has multiple projects they want to take on, giving them this scheduling book, might just help to keep them on track.  It offers a way to list out costs, materials, and project ideas for each individual project.

4. Clamps.  I love these!  They are perfect for me to be able to repair small furniture pieces that I’m working on.  I can easily set them and release them with one hand.  They have helped me out on many different projects.

5. Canvas Toolbelt.  This is perfect to have the small tools you need, right there, within easy reach.  Being canvas, it’s lightweight and durable.  There is also a pocket on the backside that is perfect for having your phone handy but also keeping it protected.

6. Magnetic Dish.  This is a great little gift that will help keep screws, nuts, and bolts right there within easy reach as you are working on a project.  The magnet is heavy duty and it’s a great organizational item to add to any workshop.

7. Good Quality Tape Measure.  This particular item is great when you are trying to measure something and no one is there to help you out.  Being rigid, it can open out a long way and not bend and wobble.  Plus the larger size makes reading the actual measurement much easier.

8. Scissors and Snippers.  Any DIYer can never have too many of these available.  Different sizes and strengths can help you cut through just about anything with ease.  I have several different sizes in my arsenal and use them ALL the time.  Good, strong scissors are right up there too.  I use my serrated ones over and over again for crafting projects.

9. Good Glue Gun and Glue Sticks.  I had the same old glue gun for years and burned my fingers more times than I can count.  Getting this smaller glue gun that is dual temp has been a good upgrade.  Make sure you include the right-size glue sticks for the gun that you choose.  There are so many different projects where a good glue gun is a must have item!

Okay, all you elves out there…I’ve given you nine great gift ideas that I promise your DIYer will love and get lots of use out of.  I’ve also included links to those items or to similar items for you to check out!  I mean, c’mon…what more could you ask for?!
