Tips for More Efficient Housecleaning
When it comes to cleaning, I will have to say, it’s not something I actually enjoy doing. I know that there are some out there who LOVE to clean. I, however, am not that person. Think Spring with Easy Curb Appeal Ideas
If you’re somewhere in the midst of big snow, tiny temps, or both, spring may seem like a distant dream. If that’s your reality then turning your thoughts to flowers, sunny weather and time spent outdoors may provide a well-needed break. And if your weather is already showing signs of ditching the doldrums of winter, then you may already have a hot case of spring fever. Regardless of your situation, read on as we take on curb appeal and ways to achieve it.
Choosing a Non-Traditional Neutral Color for Your Interior

And contrary to the theory that low levels of saturation define a neutral, some would argue that deep charcoal or even black are neutrals despite their intense saturation. While you won’t find a neutral color on a color wheel, you will find color wheel colors used to create neutrals. And if you’ve seen my videos, you may have heard me speak of a “neutral blue or green.” So just what the heck is a neutral and why should you care about them?! Read on to find out more!

And the good news is there are now even more products and ideas to help us accomplish that goal. So let’s talk a little bit about what some of those options might be.

Five Things NOT to do When Choosing Paint Colors for Your Home
Today I’m flipping the script on choosing colors for your home. Instead of providing guidance on what to do, I’ll focus on what NOT to do. What will happen if you do the things I advise against? Well, I may show up at your door proclaiming to be commissioner of the color police to publicly shame you, although that’s rather unlikely. But not impossible. You've been warned. Of course, it’s your home and you should do what you want. My hope is these “negative” tips help you avoid some common pitfalls and achieve positive results. We’re both looking for the same solution – for you to love where you live!
Design Thoughts from Japan

My gifts to you, which will spread across a number of blogs and YouTube videos, include images I’m confident will beguile and inspire you and design-related observations I hope will help you see new options from a new perspective. So, let’s get started!
